fun with paint

these two were taken during our trip to North Dakota. we past through idaho falls and this is what we saw. the temple was closed because it was a sunday so we walked around it and then strolled over to the famous Idaho Falls "Falls" which as far as i can tell are pretty cool. there is a small dam in the background there which had a sign near it saying something about a one light bulb dam. i think it powers more than that but oh well. i was hoping for something bigger that we could hang glide off of, but they seemed to be just rapids really. it was a fun trip anyway.

so the only thing people could tell me about ND was that there would be snow and it would be flat. but this picture disagrees. you'll notice that there is no snow because it all melted after the storm. we had the screen door open all day because the weather is so nice. and also there are dragons here. yepp i know i was amazed but theres the picture to prove it. and even though the drive to fargo is flat Bismarck is actually built by the Missouri river and so it has geology hills and stuff, i added those mountains my self so that people in utah wont get lost. this place really makes me understand why people made compasses.

that car is my car. i guess that's how it works. it's an automatic with cruise control and everything. the roads are so straight and level that i think i could actually take a nap with out any worries. there is some sort of funny fee for the car but they pay for gas and everything else so in the end it'll be much much much less than paying for my own car. and it's got those awesome racing lines, hmm i dont think the BSA would like it if i got speeding tickets though. and the paper work said i had to pay my own tickets... guess it's a good thing that i only added those in MS Paint.

thats our new apartment door. #11. and look someone is knocking! you can come visit us if you'd like but if i were you i'd fly because it's a long drive! have a great day.
