third times the charm
well it may not seem like it but i feel as though i'm a day late getting this out on the web. i havent got any real good excuse, but then again no excuse is very good to begin with. so i did think about somethings i wanted to tell every one. first i want to rant a little about the cost of books. you see i live in a digital age and i have come to the belife that information should be free. in fact thanks to the awesomeness of technology i know that our current ideas pertaining to economics (supply vs demand) are obsolete in certain fields. take an example: in the past if you had a product, then you had a limited ammount of the product... and so you could charge as much as people would pay and they would pay as much as they could afford because they know that there are only so many of the things and if they miss this chance they'll have to go with out. yeah i know that may be a little over simplified but in reality thats the baisis of our economic planing. but now there are many products that are limitless. say music for one, and software, and any other type of digital media. these are limitless products, when someone sells an mp3 they dont lose anything and take your money. they just copy something and take your money. it's just crazy to think that i shouold pay for something that has no real monitary value. and of course one can argue that the people who created the original product need some sort of compensation, but we can also all agree that by paying for songs of other types of digital media we are not gaurentied the those people will get the money. so why should i pay? it just doesnt make any sense. so now the real reason for this rant is that yesterday i had to "buy books" (which i know that they produced this book in a digital forma). these books cost me 300 dollars, and i have 4 books. what the? how? why? it just doesnt make sense..well it does, because i know that the book people want to screw me and take my money just as much as every body else does. why would they do something good when they can do something to make money instead. any way... i have yummy homemade orange rolls waiting for me in the kitchen. i love my wife. so i'll leave you now. have a great day.
