Because of Steven's job, this past month we were invited to go to a Fall Camporee at Lake Sakakawea (about 2.5 hours away) with the Boy Scouts. We only went for the day. It was a BEAUTIFUL day.
It was such a calm drive.
They had sailing at the lake.
The boys were working on some of the retro badges for the 100 Anniversary of the BSA. One the merit badge workshops was Signaling. The boys learned about Morse code and about semaphore. Steven asked the nice merit badge counselor to spell HELP out. The Beatles were wrong......
I got a pretty good sunburn and had a wonderful time running around with all of the Scouts. It was an amazing day.
In other news..... Heavenly Father had been blessing us greatly. In the past week we have bought a used apartment sized washer and dryer. They hook up to standard outlets and to the bathroom sink. We think they are so cool!
Who knew that having clean laundry without having to go to the laundromat could make a person so happy....
We have this huge tree outside of our apartment. Because of how cold it has been this past week the leaves have started changing.
This picture was taken on Monday this week.
These were taken today. Soon the leaves will be falling.
Now to end with some pretty sunsets that we have had this month.
We are enjoying North Dakota. Fall time is so pretty here....
Come visit sometime!

ND does look absolutely beautiful! The washer looks awesome. I didn't even know they made something like that... so cool. BTW, the creme puffs in the previous post look great!
September looks like it's been good. Congratulations on the washer and dryer! Are you coming for Cassie's wedding?
Beautiful pictures!
